Fortune Magazine Ranks PG&E Corporation Among Top 50 Companies Nationwide For Minorities

SAN FRANCISCO – For the fifth consecutive year, Fortune this week named PG&E Corporation (PCG.N) among its 50 Best Companies for providing opportunities to minority employees.

“PG&E Corporation remains committed to a diverse workforce, from entry level through our officer ranks, because we know it helps us meet the business challenges of serving our increasingly diverse communities," said G. Brent Stanley, senior vice president of Human Resources for PG&E Corporation.  "The Corporation is pleased to receive this recognition from Fortune magazine, as well as from other national publications and organizations over the past several years.”

Fortune ranked PG&E Corporation no. 23 overall on this year’s list, and placed the company among the top 10 in several break out categories, including minority board membership, percentage of minorities among the 50 highest paid, and percentage of purchasing done from minority-owned businesses.

PG&E Corporation and its utility subsidiary Pacific Gas and Electric Company have been consistently recognized nationally for their approach to workforce diversity from numerous publications and organizations, including:
