Wildfire and Safety Updates

Pacific Gas and Electric Company intends to post here its reports to the CPUC of electric incidents (“Electric Incident Reports” or EIRs) involving ignitions greater than 500 acres, and which are reportable under Decisions 14-02-015 and 06-04-055, and Resolution E-4184, within 1 business day of submission to the CPUC (typically, postings occur outside of market trading hours). Electric utilities must submit reports related to any incident that is attributable or allegedly attributable to a utility's facilities and the incident results in property damage estimated to exceed $200,000, a fatality or injury requiring medical attention from a healthcare professional at a hospital or other medical facility, or media coverage from a major news outlet, or a government entity investigating whether the infrastructure owned or operated by the utility caused the wildfire. The information provided in such reports is preliminary.
