"Pacific Gas and Electric Company, the utility subsidiary of PG&E Corporation, remains very interested in the success of the proposed Ruby natural gas pipeline, which would provide access to natural gas supplies from the Rocky Mountain Region of the United States.

During its quarterly earnings call on Tuesday, May 6 PG&E Corporation said it would no longer be a potential partner in the construction of the Ruby Pipeline. This decision by PG&E Corporation does not alter Pacific Gas and Electric Company's request to California Public Utility Commission for approval of PG&E’s natural gas transportation contract for firm service rights on the proposed Ruby pipeline for a 15-year term commencing in 2011."
