Corporation Also Recognized for Diversity
Efforts by Fortune and Hispanic Magazines
SAN FRANCISCO LATINA Style, the only national
publication focused on the Latina professional, recently
named PG&E Corporation (NYSE:PCG) as one of the
top 50 companies nationwide for providing professional
opportunities to Latinas. Winners of the annual LATINA
Style 50 Award are chosen from more than 600
of the most respected U.S. companies. The Corporation
was presented with the award at a ceremony held at
the White House on March 28.

PG&E Corporation's policies and programs have
been consistently recognized nationally for their
approach to workforce diversity. For the past four
years, the Corporation has been named by Fortune magazine
as one of the top 50 companies nationwide for minorities.
In 2002, the Corporation was ranked no. 30 in Fortune's
overall list; in addition, the magazine ranked PG&E
Corporation no. 4 on its list of companies with the
largest number of minorities among the 50 highest
paid employees.
Thirty percent of PG&E Corporation's 21,000 employees
are minority women and men, and 18 percent of the
company's management ranks are comprised of minorities.
The Corporation and its subsidiary Pacific Gas and
Electric Company have also received recognition for
